Other messages are reinforced throughout the performance, such as the need to take responsibility for your own actions and the self confidence that can be gained from overcoming adversity.
The performance is well structured to retain the interests of the audience at all times. It is visual and uses images, video and the engaging personalities of the performers to entertain and inform the audience. Paul and Jimmy both speak regularly in corporate and private functions and are accomplished presenters.
In a culture where instant celebrity and fame are valued so highly, this presentation gives the message that hard work, determination and self-belief are the keys to success and happiness and that both men have been on journeys through adversity that are equally worthy of respect. Whether it is Jimmy's struggle to overcome his injuries and walk again or Paul's will to overcome successive setbacks.
