Paul ‘Scully’ Sculthorpe will need all his legendary reserves of mental toughness when he competes in his next challenge, playing Crown Green bowls against comedian and actor Jonny Vegas in aid of the Steve Prescott Foundation.
This is the second Scully versus Vegas challenge. The first was a table tennis challenge where Scully emerged as a comfortable winner.
Not well known for his bowling prowess, Scully has been building up his fitness ready for the challenge and will be coming into the contest in peak condition.
One thing is for sure, after the 21st June crown green bowls will never be the same again.
