If the answer is Yes to one of the above then you need to hear the story of Jimmy Gittins.
Jimmy is an ex rugby player with an injury. In 2002 Jimmy broke the C3 and C4 bones in his neck leaving him unable to move anything below his neck. He has spent the years since his injury pushing his body to new limits. First walking out of the hospital after 9 hard and painful months and then taking on one challenge after another that most other people wouldn’t think they could attempt. Jimmy does all of this with a smile on his face, he has a positive attitude to life and to his own limitations that cant help but rub off on those who meet him.
Before he had his accident Jimmy had built up a very successful construction company with his Father and Brother. After he left hospital Jimmy knew he would never be able to return to the building sites again and had to set his mind on a new career. His passion became rehabilitation and with the help of two friends he set up a gym and rehab business that has gone from strength to strength, winning national and regional awards as gym of the year and rehabilitation centre of the year.
Not content to just focus on his business Jimmy has recognised the support he received when he needed it and works hard to help others. He is an ambassador for the State of Mind charity so that he can help others who might be in difficulty
And he has completed some incredible feats for charity, most recently becoming only the second person in history to complete the Lands End to John O'Groats trip on a hand cycle in a record time of just 11 days.
Jimmy’s achievements highlight a desire to never give up and the ability to set and then accomplish his goals, despite the negativity of those around him
In his motivational speeches and training sessions Jimmy is able to pass on the knowledge and secrets of success that he has picked up
These are lessons that anyone can use to achieve their own goals and get to where they want to be
